Our next meeting, on November 12th, will be a Workshop, with Vernon Thompson, on “The Winter’s Tale”, which we will be reading on January 14th next year. Please bring a copy of the play.
Our next reading is Cymbeline Part Two on March 13th.
The date of our April meeting has had to change. It will now take place on April 3rd, and will be held at the Armenian Church Hall, Iverna Gardens, W8 6TD. The play is Richard III, part one, with the part of Richard read by Vice-Pesident Frank Barrie.
At our AGM, on January 9th, Vice-President Sir Derek Jacobi was our guest and entertained members with an extremely interesting Q and A session lead by Anthony Wise. Our other Vice-Presidents are also involved in meetings this season. In October Elizabeth Counsell read Hamlet in part one of that play, and on April 10th Frank Barrie will read the part of Richard III.
Please note that there has been a change in the order of our meetings in December and January. On December 12th we will read “Venus and Adonis”, and the AGM will now be held on January 9th 2018.
Our new season has now started, the next reading is Richard II on October 13th.
