You have a choice of payment methods:
| 1a | Direct debit. Simply go to here and enter your details. I will advise you when payment is going to be taken. | ||||||||
| 1b | Direct debit alternative. Please send me your bank details: exact account name, sort code, account number and your snail mail address. I will advise you when payment is going to be taken. | ||||||||
| 2a | Credit/debit card. (If you have a Paypal account, use option 2b even if you intend to use a payment card.) Go to here, click on the "Pay Now" button and follow the instructions. You will receive a prompt acknowledgement from PayPal and my receipt will follow within a few days. | ||||||||
| 2b | PayPal. If you have a Paypal account, use the Send Money facility in PayPal -

may get you there. Send to @RogerWHaworth . Tell them that it is “for friends and family” so we won’t be charged a fee. You have an option to tell PayPal to take the money from a credit/debit card rather than your Paypal balance. | ||||||||
| 3 | Folding greenback.
I will happily accept cash at any meeting. (I do not accept cheques because I have no way of paying them in except as described at 6 below so you might as well do it yourself.) | ||||||||

Take your cheque payable to
Shakespeare Reading Society to a Post Office branch and ask for
a Santander ‘cheque-only’ deposit slip and a cheque deposit envelope.
Use the account details at 4 above.
The Post Office branch will give you a receipt as proof of deposit.
The receipt won’t show the value of the cheque. It is vital that you email me to advise that payment has been made because the only thing I see in the bank statement is "cheque deposit". (See also this page on the Santander website.) |
